The Checker Taxi Stand

Hey guys,
I cannot believe I randomly passed by this one night while flipping through the channels. On TLC, from their show "rides", they had hot rodded a 1979 checker for the major --REMOVED-- ny, ny in las vegas. They went into some good detail on a few checker subjects..

Hey,
It was broadcasted on Discovery channel, a couple of years ago.
I visited New York New York a few months ago, when I went to the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Festival in Vegas. Unfortunately the car was not there. The car is travelling through the US, doing promo-stuff, so if you want to see the car, make sure it's there.

Nice car! Anybody seen it in person? The front bumper looks like 55-56 Chevy and the back bumper looks like an upside-down Checker bumper.
