| The Packard Car Club had their national meet at the Marriott Hotel just across the street from my house all of last week (50th anniversary of the last Packard off the Detroit factory line). One of the cars there was a 1947 Packard Clipper Taxi in great shape. Apparently it originally was a taxi then went civilian and in 1999 was purchased and restored as a taxi. I will mail John W. some of the photos I took and maybe he can scan them and put them in the gallery. |
