Apparently back in 1968 the local rat population of Oklahoma City converted the Checker A3 to rat condos.

Took the better part of a day pulling 40 years of debris out of the Checker. Wire brushed the floors and treated the rust. Also sealed with rubber sealant.

Put on four tires that actually hold air. Love the low profiles Goodyear 60's....pretty stupid looking but at least the car now rolls.

Now in storage, I will start unbolting fenders over the rest of the summer and will send out for media blasting or chemical treatment.

And I thought I had a project with my Aerobus at least I can get parts through Joe. That is one cool taxi.
