Joe Pollard sent me this link. Well worth the time to read the article. Imagine something like this done to the new generation Taxi ... with the plastic body and electric drive system the only parts you would have to worry about would be the frame and interior ... way to practical to ever get built.

| Damn wish I could get a Checker to roll like that, although I'm sure performance would take hit due to the fact there is probably another 2000lbs on the frame over the Mini. |
