Recently a fleet of NYC themed Checkers were used by Saturn GC to promote their show in Leipzig, Germany.
Here's what Thomas of Hollwood Cars had to say about it:

Some of the cars were listed on the German Ebay. Don't know if they have been sold. Prices started from 20.000 USD.
