For those who have never been, this is a fun event. It is sponsored by the Chicagoland Corvair Enthusiasts. Bring what you want to eat ... they will provide grills, soda, water, etc. It's exactly what the title says, a picnic / cruise-in for orphan owners only.

Some Chicago area Checker owners have made it previous years. Previous attendees received a flyer in the mail a while back. One of the organizers is Larry Claypool who is a long time member of the Checker club.

Who all made it to this? Or was it a rain out since I know the Cubs game got rained out?

I know Larry should have been there ... he organizes it and works at it. Did any other Chicago area Checker members make it?
