One of the ways this site is paid for is by selling ads on the site to non-club members. "For Sale" ads on the Checker web site are free for club members. I could not verify a club membership using your phone number sdo this posting has been edited to remove the phone number.

If you are a member of the club, please reply with your name, address and membership number or the email address you used when you registered with the club so I can verify your membership and I will be happy to approve your free ad.

As a non-member, you have the following options:

(1) Join the club for $25 which includes a year's subscription to the Checkerboard News. There are two options to joining:

(b) send a $25 check to the club treasurer:

(2) Or you can just pay for the ad as a non-member. You will need to arrange payment ($10) for the ad before it is posted. You have multiple choices for payment.

(a) Use http://support.divisionpoint.net/payment/ to pay with plastic. The transaction is secure. Simply select "Checker Taxi Stand Classified Ad" under where it says "Select the item:" and fill in your payment details.

(b) Use PayPal to send $10 to sysop@checkertaxistand.com

When you get your email confirmation that payment was sent, forward a copy (minus account number) to me (jweinhoeft<@>checkercarclub.org) and I'll go ahead and approve the ad. You MUST send me a copy because the transaction will go to the Treasurer and I will not see it.

In addition to the web site ad, you may also request the ad be published in the Checkerboard News. Unfortunately, the April issue was just mailed. The next issue will in July.
