I found a great deal on a 1970 checker marathonand I purchased it today. My car has some rust but the frame is solid.
Does anyone know if there are replacement floorpans out there?
where can I buy replacement rockers?

Also I even have all the trim for it including the original hub caps.
thanks for everything

Jesse Joe,

There are reproduction rocker panels available from various suppliers. Ads are on this site and in the club newsletter. See "Parts & Service", "Classified Ads" and that big "Checker Parts" logo on the top of the page.

As far as I know, you will have to make your own floor pans. They are mostly flat metal with just a few curves you can bend over your leg ... having rebuilt most of a floor, it isn't that hard, just time consuming ... expect you will find the sub-frame body braces under the front pans heavily rusted. You can see pictures of one I'm working on by reading the "Buying 1st Checker" article on this site and following the "typical rust" link. There are later photos in the 2004 National show album with the "new" floor exposed.

If you are not yet a club member, you should consider joining. The REALLY good stuff (manuals, wiring diagrams, some technical articles and back copies of the newsletter) are available only to club members.
