Hello fellow Checker enthusiasts,

Someone of you maybe know me. If not I will introduce myself. My name is Maciek Ryszka, I am Checker A-11 owner form Poland, Europe. Right now I am doing frame-off restoration of my Checker. This car is probably only one Checker in this coutry. The photos of restoration progress can be seen on my gallery:
http://www.checkertaxistand.com/index.php?set_albumName=Checker-A-11-restoration-in-Poland%2C-Europe&option=com_gallery&Itemid=29&include=view_album.php

In my work on car I often encounter trouble with obtain the spare parts. Almost no one there heard about Checker and even the GM parts are hard to find. There are very few US-made cars, and parts offer of shops are very narrow. Most of parts are not available even for special orders.
My question is - maybe someone know on-line parts shop which ships parts outside USA? Or a shop in Europe or USA which I can contact by email in English. If you know that place please share me that information.

Best regards,

Maciek

Maybe you should buy Mats-Einar's Checker shop, see Classifieds Ads. Would be interesting to see what kind of Checker stuff he is selling for 7000 US-$.

Cheers
Dieter
