The Checker Taxi Stand

The 9th of July at www.bigmeet.com we founded the CCCOE most of us are Swedish members 6 Swedish one Norwwegian and Two germans joined up 6 cars attended the show and 3 was oon the outside and didnt turn up at the meeting.

we had to sit in My car wbeacuse of a hailstorm just when we was going to meet but what a blessing it became we formed the club inside a Checker where else should it be hehe.

M-E Mats-einar was Chosen to president Karlsson as a tresurer and Eva J as secretary

We decided that all correnspondence should be in English and all fees in Euro to make it simple

The goal is to support each other with parts info and have atleast one meet a yeatr in Europe.

Since the meet it has been very quiet but thru discussions with the fesome of the few mebers we are looking at placing next years meet at Roskilde in Denmark to make it closer for the Europeean checker owners to drive their cars to the meet we want as many as possible to attend.

We would like to get in touch with all you that has a checker in Europe but as it is today we have just a small fraction of where and who owns a checker and we are asking you to help us build up a registry of owners in Europe so if you have info about Who owns and where a Checker is + contact inf email please send it to
mats_einar@hotmail.com to help us get the club on the road and be able to se4nd info to all the owners about the activities.

We sent a letter to all the owners that is members of CCCOA but only a small fractiion replied so we want to get hold odf pepole preferrably thru email to keep the costs down.

Mats-Einar, have you checked the old newsletters that are in the photo gallery. April issues typically have a roster, you may be able to find old members who have lasped in rejoining the CCCoA over the last couple of years.

Hello,
I'm seriously considering making the trip from Amsterdam to the meeting in Denmark, however, I cannot get any contact with Mats-Einar or the organisation of the meeting.
Usually Mats-Einar posted messages a couple of times a day, but I haven't heard of him for weeks. Anyone knows where he is?
