What is the size of the fuel lines for an 81 Checker with gasoline 350?

The 78 parts manual doesn't specify the metal fuel line size but the clips holding it are spec'ed as 3/8 single tube and the union fitting as a 3/8 inverted flare. So I would assume the metal line from the tank to a junction block on the frame by the driver's front wheel was 3/8 OD. There is a different fuel line with a reference to a 1/4 inverted flare fitting which is apparently the line from the union / junction block to the mechanical fuel pump so I would assume the final fuel delivery lines are 1/4 OD.

A somewhat bigger line wouldn't hurt anything as long as you can use a reducer to match up to whatever fittings there are on both ends.
