Remember all that talk about the Checker Car Club of America expanding it's national show and meeting from a biannual event in Kalamazoo, to an annual event, travelling to other cities in the odd years? Well, even if you don't, here it is! The June 3, 2007 Ypsilanti Orphan Show is honoring "The Cars of Kalamazoo" this year at their annual event. And seeing as how Checkers are just about the most famous Kalamazoo cars out there, they're going to get a lot of attention at this show (look at the neat show flyer/poster artwork to the right... awesome!).
This has been designated a "national show" by the Checker Club (the first in the non-K-zoo shows). Pre-registration is required no later than May 21, 2007 and cars are expected to be "original". So c'mon, you weren't going anywhere in June anyway! Come out to Ypsi. All your friends are doing it. (peer pressure alert!) Here's more info...
