National Meeting of the Checker Car Club of America in Kalamazoo,

The Checker Car Club of America 2006 National Meet will be held in
Kalamazoo, Mich., on June 16-18th (hey, that's now!). The theme for the National Meet is "Swap Meet."
Friday
- Afternoon gathering will be a picnic and car wash in Markin Park
- Evening Q&A session at the hotel
Saturday
- Gilmore Classic Car Museum (swap meet and show)
- Club banquet (at The Birches, a banquet hall located a mile North of the Hampton, on 9th St.)
Sunday
- Informal gathering and goodbyes.

Lodging:
Hampton Inn & Suites, Kalamazoo-Oshtemo, MI
Features a pool, exercise room, and nice meeting room. We have 40 rooms
reserved in the name of the Checker Car Club. Regular guest rooms are
priced at $85, and studio suites at $99. The hotel is located on the
West side of Kalamazoo (in a smaller burg called Oshtemo) and is easy
to get to. Exit 72 of I-94 (9th St., Oshtemo), go North 1/4 mi., and
it’s on the right. Reservations can be made by calling (269) 372-1010.
Early reservations are strongly recommended since we are up against a
soccer tournament and a dog show.
Directions: From I-94, take Exit 72 (9th Street) north to the Hampton Inn & Suites hotel on the right one-quarter mile.
