Once you have the motor out, it would be a good idea to support the transmission with a chain so the car can be rolled around. Although you can not see it in this photo, there is a supporting chain running between the two hood hinges.

Boy, there’s a lot of grease in the engine compartment. Time to clean things up a bit. That’s what power washers are for!

 Once the engine compartment was clean, it was time to paint and detail it. This photo is part way through the process. Lots of plastic and masking tape everywhere.
