Did you think the Checker at the Gilmore was the oldest Checker around?  Guess again.  Here are some shots of the oldest known Checker in existance at a recent car show in southern California.  It's a 1922 Checker model H owned by the sales manager at LA Yellow Cab Company. 

The last time I saw this cab was on a video clip Joe Pollard sent me where it was painted black and white.  Looks really nice in yellow!
